We are the largest (non-compulsory) student club based on the North Terrace Campus of Adelaide University. Our membership base has reached 1500 students and staff from a wide variety of disciplines which primarily involve undergraduate engineering students.

We strive to provide social and academic events in a pro-fun atmosphere and hold a strong relationship with the Faculty of Engineering, Computer & Mathematical Sciences (ECMS).

Learn About What We Do

Our ancestry engineering brothers and sisters began the AUES many thousands of years ago. Our society lived throughout the invention of the wheel and also the rise and fall of the mighty Roman empire.

We were responsible for two of the most important inventions of the modern day; the barbeque and the process for beer brewing.

Learn About Our Influence in WWII

Our committee structure is divided into two parts; the executive and the general committee. We mostly spawn from 2nd to 5th year engineering students (with the occasional 11th year PhD candidate). Apart from being good looking we’re not a bad bunch of people.
