The AUES Committee is elected once a year at the AGM, usually in term 3. Most roles are open to anyone however in general before serving in an office you should spend a year on general committee learning the ropes. If you're a fun and friendly lad or lady and you want to get involved hop along to the next AGM and get elected.

Executive Committee

President

- Calls & chairs meetings
- In charge of contacting everyone at the University: University Club (UC), Clubs Association (CA), ECMS Faculty, Engineering Schools (Mech, Civil, Chem, Elec, Petro)
- Makes Newsletters once a month
- Sends emails to the mailing list
- In charge of deciding how things happen at BBQs
- Delegating who organises each event

Vice-President

- Helps the President out whenever they need
- Main contact and organiser for Careers Night

Secretary

- Takes minutes at meetings
- Deals with official correspondence

Treasurer

- Takes care of all AUES finances
- Brings a print-out of AUES finances to each meeting so the rest of committee can have a look
- In charge of the cashbox & chequebook

Equity Officer

- Takes care of any other issues that general committee members have and helps the exec run the club
- In charge of any equality issues (race/gender related)

General Committee

IT Officer

- Facebook page updater
- Updates the AUES website: news posts, upload publications, photo gallery etc...

Sponsorship Officer

- Creates 2x sponsorship prospectuses (One for engineering companies & one for pubs/promotions)
- Organises for prospectuses to be printed

Publicity Officer (2)

- Create posters for each of the AUES events
- Makes Facebook events from the Facebook group

General Committee (6)

- Basically do anything that other committee members ask you to:
- Be there early to set up for the BBQs and help clean up after they're done
- Help publicity officers put posters up for events
