Make sure you scroll down and have a read. ________________________________________________________________________12-08-2010 AUES and YEA Careers NightThe 2010 careers night was the biggest and arguably the best careers night the AUES has held in recent history. Over 280 students packed into Equinox and Rumours function rooms at Adelaide Uni to listen to a variety of speakers with some flying from interstate for the evening. The networking time allowed for students to speak one on one with representatives from over 15 companies and get a chance to learn about some companies they may have not heard about before. It is very likely that a portion of students who attended the evening will gain work experience and maybe even a job from the initial introductions and contacts that were made on the night. ________________________________________________________________________07-08-2010 Term 3 BBQ and Tug of WarThe AUES once again took over the Barr Smith lawns on a day that was cool but fine and smelt of onions. Over 450 members came to enjoy a great afternoon that included a fantastic trans-torrens tug of war that ended with two members of the losing team having a dip. Check out the photos.

the AUESThe AUES will host an engineering careers night on the 11th of August from 5.30pm. The importance of networking can not be underestimated and this is an excellent opportunity to not only network but to organise vaction work, work experience and also discover companies that you may not have heard of previously. Nearly twenty companies have registered interest. See the events calendar for more information on this and other upcoming events.  ________________________________________________________________________ 06-07-2010 Post Exam PartyAn event that has been popular in the past was rushed back this year. Nearly 100 people came and had a few drinks at St Pauls before spreading over Adelaide to watch the World Cup Soccer. Check out the photos below. Plans are already in action to organise an End of Party in conjunction with just under 20 clubs and societies from all three uni's.

23-05-2010 Quiz Night
Held for the first time off campus at the classy St Pauls Function Centre, the Quiz Night was a great success. 23 tables of 10 competed for the ultimate prize (beer and chocolate), and the winning team (by 1 point!) was "The David Campbell Experience". Check out photos below:

The Term 2 BBQ was the biggest so far! With 16 kegs and 1800 snags consumed, we've certainly broken some AUES records. Check out all the pics here:

28-03-2010 Pub CrawlThe AUES was once again host to the biggest and best pub crawl around. Over 2000 shirts were sold and 17 pubs were visited. The night finished with over 700 people packing into St Pauls where a couple of great DJs and a visit by Red Bull made sure that there were plenty of stories created to fill the void until next year. Check out the pics below.

14-03-2010 Term 1 BBQ
The Term 1 BBQ was absolutely huge - attended by 600 people, we went through a record 14 kegs in just over 2 hours! Fairy floss was popular, as were the freebies from Apple. Keg stacks and Foot & Mouth race were MC'd by Xan O'Shea and were a heap of fun.
